And as a “Future Leader”, I just have want to say this: One day, in about 20 years time, we are going to be leading this country. This country’s future will be in our hands. This is what we want. Listen to us. We want this. This is what we want our country to be like. We want all Australia citizen to be happy. This will make them happy.
WHY NOT?
I am an Australian citizen, and I’m also of the younger generation and a “Future Leader of Australia” — Hello that’s me.
The future generations want marriage equality.
So, stop thinking like a politician. And start thinking like an Australian citizen. Start listening to us. Start talking to us. Stop looking at project figures, and statistics. Look at the people. Look at what makes us happy. Listen to us. Learn from us.
Learn love. Learn tolerance. Learn peace. Learn respect.
Learn equality.
We shouldn’t have to teach you this, you should already know it. And if you don’t, what makes you think you can “lead” our country.
